Composer and cellist Karen Ouzounian explores her family’s Anatolian-Armenian and Lebanese roots and the significance of old music in a new world. Alongside her own compositions, French Baroque music is interwoven with original arrangements of Armenian folk music and the recorded voices of Karen’s mother and grandmother in this meditation on inheritance and the passage of time.
