Sculptures of Sound

Taking place at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockland, this “Sculptures of Sound” performance will be paired in conjunction with an exhibition featuring a Maine sculpture. Presenting Anton Bruckner’s string quintet— a masterpiece by the 19th-century “contemporary” composer—amid sculptures by Bianca Beck (currently on exhibit at CMCA). Plus composer and hornist David Byrd-Marrow performs his Meditations as a sonic response to Beck’s sculptures.
