Ian Antonio, percussion

Percussionist Ian Antonio is a member of the acclaimed piano and percussion quartet Yarn/Wire, the composer and performer collective Wet Ink, and the percussion group Talujon. Until 2011 he was a member of the difficult-to-categorize trio Zs. Performances with these ensembles and others have brought him to the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Lincoln Center, Edinburgh International Festival, Disney Hall, and Shanghai Symphony Hall. His playing can be heard on the Nonesuch, Warp, Social Registry, Carrier, and Kairos record labels, among others. Ian teaches at Purchase College.
